Coronavirus and online education 1:16
(CNN) - Like most parents suddenly trying to educate their children at home, Drew Barrymore is experiencing the ups and downs of being quarantined with young children during the coronavirus pandemic.
Barrymore called the program "Today" Tuesday to talk to Savannah Guthrie and said trying to run her business and educate her young daughters, Olive and Frankie, at home has been a challenge.

"I don't know if there are good days and bad days. I think there are good hours and bad hours. I have cried every day, all day, ”he told Guthrie of this adjustment. “It was like every church and state. It is the most disastrous moment I have had in my life, to be the teacher, the mother, the one who disciplines them, the one who takes care of them ”.
Barrymore says he is trying to be happy "at all times" and that he has learned to appreciate school teachers even more than before.

"I didn't think I needed to respect and appreciate teachers more than I already did," he said. “Then you start getting some systems and you see people on social media making lists and you're like, aaarghh. But you find your way. You are resistant ”.
Barrymore also teamed up with her beauty brand, Flower Beauty, with Beauty United, a campaign that is raising money for coronavirus relief.
"I am one in a sea of people who support this cause," she said. "What I also take away from this experience is that this is a moment in time when everyone is leaving aside their independent companies and joining together."
