Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly announced the implementation of the ban and prevention measures to tackle the Coronavirus, by closing all shops, commercial centers, parks and beaches and stopping public transportation next Monday in addition to Friday and Saturday.
Madbouly said that the ban measures applied on Friday and Saturday are to be applied to Monday, which includes a full closure of shops and malls.
Madbouli added in a statement carried on the seventh day that besides, parks, public gardens and beaches will be stopped in order to reduce gatherings in order to ensure the safety of Egyptian citizens, pointing out that all public transportation, including railways and subways, as well as river and inter-governorate transportation will be stopped.
Madbouly expressed concern about the size of presence and gatherings in the streets in the past days.
