Italy announced today the recovery of 2563 people infected with Corona virus within one day, which is a record number since the beginning of the epidemic that killed about 23 thousand people in this country.
"The highest number of cases of recovery since the beginning of the crisis," Italian Civil Defense Commander Angelo Borrelli was quoted as saying, but that came in parallel with the count of 575 deaths within 24 hours.
The number of injured reached nearly 107 thousand, an increase of 355 injuries from yesterday, as the number of injuries decreased in several regions, including Turin, Rome and Naples.
In turn, the Italian Higher Institute of Health revealed that 10 percent of the patients in Italy belong to the medical staff, two thirds of whom are women.
The Italian Doctors Syndicate revealed in a statement yesterday that the Corona epidemic has claimed the lives of 125 doctors in the country.
