It has not been extinguished after burning for 11 hours. There were two 300-meter and 1.2-kilometer fire lines on the top of the mountain. The helicopter of the flight service team was dispatched. Assist in rescue and suspend support after entering the darkness. By 11:00 pm, the fire line was once extended by 500 meters and 2 kilometers. Fortunately, by 7 am on Saturday (18th), the two fire lines had been reduced to 50 meters each.
Environmental group "Green Planet" said on the social networking site Facebook that there was a mountain fire in Huangnidun and Gong'an Mountain in Yuen Long. According to the photos, the direction of the mountain fire is very likely. The established tree planting group said helplessly: "The trees are all 15 years old, and all of them are standing upright. They are keeping water and protecting the soil for everyone. Why do you want to burn them all at once?"
