The United States has crossed the threshold of the 700,000 registered infections with the emerging coronavirus, according to the Johns Hopkins University census.
The French Press Agency quoted the university as saying that the United States recorded 3,856 additional deaths within twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 36,377, while the total number of injuries reached 700,282.
With these statistics, the United States has become the country most affected by the virus since the end of last March.
