The quorum of the Corona virus in Iran reached more than 5,000 on Saturday, all media affiliated with the regime reported. The total number of deaths since the outbreak of the epidemic in the state is 5,031 people, of whom 73 people died this morning.

Iranian Health Ministry spokeswoman Kyanush Jahanpur today told the state television network that the daily mortality rate is the lowest recorded in the country in recent days and that the number of people diagnosed with the Corona virus is 80,868.

But even in Iran itself there has been controversy over the official figures provided by the Iranian Ministry of Health. A report by the Majles, the Iranian parliament, released this week, stated that the death toll from the Corona virus could be double the data presented by the Ministry of Health and that the number of people infected is ten times higher than the official data.

An exceptional report by Parliament also constitutes a conservative assessment. A senior World Health Organization official last month, after a visit to Iran, claimed that the number of people infected and dead in the plague in Iran is five times higher than the regime's data suggests. Underground activists statewide confirm World Health Organization estimates that the number of dead in the country has long crossed the 11,000.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has decided today, due to a decline in the number of new cases, to resume trading life in the capital of Tehran, after last week schools and mosques in the capital returned to operation.

The decision was made enthusiastically by the public in the city, which is suffering from an economic crisis due to the US sanctions and a renewed trading life. Hundreds of thousands today went to work in the Iranian capital and traffic jams were recorded on the ring road that surrounds the Iranian capital. Media outlets in the state reported a 70 percent increase in traffic on the capital's streets.

Yesterday the capital marked "Army Day" in a military parade that, unlike the usual weapons and missiles for this type of event, featured medical equipment and Iranian military disinfectants. The event took place in the presence of the army leaders and a small number of senior officials and no audience.
