Palestinian Terror Day Bleaching Day

Last week was marked "Palestinian Prisoner Day", which identifies with security prisoners imprisoned in Israel. The Palestinians, with the backing of Israeli and international "human rights" organizations, are conducting widespread campaigns around this day, accompanied by conferences, reports, praises to terrorists and Israel's denigration.

The Palestinians define anyone arrested for resisting the occupation as a "political prisoner." In fact, these are security prisoners, some of whom have committed murderous attacks. Notable for these campaigns are Ahmed Sa'adat, secretary general of the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and Marwan Barghouti, who has been convicted of several Israeli murders and responsible for many terrorist acts.

On Prisoner Day in 2017, the Palestinian Human Rights Council called for international protection of Palestinian political prisoners, claiming to have a policy of deliberate malpractice and poor conditions, and called on the Hague Criminal Court to open an investigation. In 2019, the council accepted that "increased restrictions on Palestinian prisoners often occur, including in 2014", on the eve of a firm cliff, "when three Israeli settlers disappeared in the West Bank."

International organizations also adopt the term "political prisoners" when it comes to terrorists. In 2017, in response to a hunger strike by security prisoners, the World Church Council Secretary-General (WCC) issued a statement supporting prisoners and calling for their release. "As Christians, one must remember that Jesus identified himself with prisoners and called for their release," the statement read.

The leading organization that supports prisoners in the public and legal aspects is Admiral, a Palestinian NGO that offers free legal aid to "political prisoners." The organization's sponsors include European governments such as Switzerland, Ireland and Spain, although the organization is linked to the Popular Front, which is defined as a terrorist organization not only in Israel, but also in the European Union.

In 2017, Amnesty International called for urgent action to release administrative detention of Khaleda Jarrar, then deputy chairman of Admiral. Jarrar, a member of the Popular Front, previously served a prison term for her membership in the terrorist organization and a call for kidnapping soldiers. A few months later, with the Popular Front squad that killed Rene Schenarb in August 2019, she was arrested as one of the leaders of the Popular Front in the West Bank, according to the indictment. Amnesty Organization petitions for Palestinian detainees and today also wins international campaign for his release.

The attempt to portray terrorists as political prisoners who need the protection of the free world is no less than a word-wash and another tactic in political warfare against Israel's right to defend itself. This takes effect, with these organizations being funded, inter alia, by the EU and the various European governments. Even if Palestinians do not expect terrorism and terrorism, they may not receive legitimacy and funding from European countries.
