The return to activity will be phased in, starting tomorrow (Monday) and in accordance with the ability of the transport operators to recruit drivers who were issued to the ISA. In addition, the authority's professionals instructed the operators to increase lines where a load was recorded. Public transport will continue to operate daily until 20:00 And its activities will cease on the weekends.

According to emergency regulations, public transport users will not be allowed to travel without a mask. It has also been determined that cash will not be paid to the driver, and passengers must recharge the multi-line ticket before boarding. Alongside this, the first passenger line near the driver will remain empty, and a maximum of 20 passengers will be allowed on each line.

Meanwhile, Transport Minister Bezalel Smutrich announced today that the driving instructors will be teaching again tomorrow and licensing tests will be conducted.

"As part of efforts to restore the economy to a certain level of functioning in a careful corona routine, I instructed the Transportation Department Licensing Department to approve the return of driving studies and practical tests, under strict hygiene guidelines starting tomorrow," Minister Smutrich announced. "There are about 4,100 households of driving teachers who make a living and tens of thousands of students in middle school."

At the same time, the minister updated that disabled car owners whose expiry date on March 10, 2020, will receive automatic extension of the car's validity by May 10, so that they can work with the licensing office to arrange it.
