Beirut-Sana

Lebanese activists renewed their adherence to the option of the resistance to deter the Israeli occupation and confront its continuous threats and violations of Lebanese sovereignty.

The Committee of the Friends of the Dean of Prisoners in the Israeli Occupation Prisons Yahya Skaf stressed that experiences have proven that the option of resistance is the only one that defeated the brute enemy in southern Lebanon and put an end to its crimes against the Lebanese people.

And considered that the ill-fated Qana massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces during its aggression on the south in April 1996 is a stigma in the forehead of the international community and the United Nations "who did not provide protection for defenseless civilians and did nothing to stop the enemy's crimes and massacres against our country and its people."

In turn, a member of the Lebanese Liberation and Development Bloc, Ali Khreis, stressed the necessity of adhering to the choice of the resistance and national constants, which constitute the main deterrent to the enemy and its plans.

Khreis said, "We are not betting on decisions issued by the Security Council or the United Nations. We are betting on our belief in the resistance as the only way to confront the Israeli enemy."

For his part, member of the Development and Liberation Bloc MP Muhammad Nasr confirmed that the resistance had won a victory when it defeated the Zionist enemy from Lebanese territory.
