LE FIGARO. - Sunday evening, the Prime Minister praised the effectiveness of containment. How do you approach the new stage of deconfinement?

Philippe BAS. - So that the lifting of the containment does not bring us back to the initial situation, it will have to be accompanied by a lot of precautions. The Prime Minister has postponed the matter to a later date. This is cause for concern because the French, their businesses and administrations need to be informed to prepare. Confinement was necessary for lack of anything better because in March we had no better way to save lives: neither capacity for massive prevention, nor capacity for sufficient care and resuscitation in the face of an influx of patients. To contain the pandemic, it was therefore necessary to stop much of the national activity. The price is very high.

The challenge of coming out of the crisis is to find a collective method of preventing effective contamination, and compatible with the resumption of activity. No way
