Today, the Yemeni army and the popular committees thwarted a large-scale attack by the mercenaries of the Saudi aggression on several fronts in the governorates of Al-Jawf and Al-Bayda and Taiz, and destroyed several armored vehicles for them and left a number of dead and injured among them.
"The army units and the popular committees were able to counter four attacks and two infiltration attempts carried out by the enemy towards the positions of the forces on the fronts of the border and in the governorates of Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda and Taiz," said Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier Yahya Sari 'in a statement posted on his website. The aggression and its mercenaries incurred heavy losses in lives and equipment, causing more than 30 dead and 45 wounded in its ranks.
Sari pointed out that the Saudi aggression launched 35 air strikes today on the governorates of Ma'rib, Al-Jawf and Najran.
A number of the mercenaries of the Saudi aggression were killed, one victim and one injured, earlier today, after repelling an attack in Taiz Governorate in Yemen.
