(CNN) - The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Scout Willis, has revealed why their divorced parents have chosen to quarantine together in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
The family sparked comments from everyone when, in early April, a photo of the "Die Hard" actor went viral, posing with his ex-wife, his daughter Scout, 28, and Dillon Buss, the boyfriend of another of his daughters, Tallulah Willis.
The image shows all four in the same pajamas. However, Willis' current wife, Emma Heming Willis, and their two daughters, Mabel, 8, and Evelyn, 5, were nowhere to be seen.

Invited to the podcast "Dopey" last Friday, Scout made things clear about her parents' quarantine agreement, stating that Heming Willis initially intended to join the group in Sun Valley, Idaho, but that a medical emergency He had left her trapped in Los Angeles.

"It's a lot of fun because to me they are like my 'strange parents', but for everyone else, it's a different level," Scout told the podcast host, known only as Dave.
"My stepmother was also coming here with my little sisters ... but my younger sister, who had never received the talk about not playing with the hypodermic needles you find, had an accident in a park," said Scout.
The incident required a trip to the doctor, and according to Scout, Heming Willis decided to stay in Los Angeles pending the test results, while Bruce traveled to his family home in Sun Valley earlier. Scout added that "traveling went crazy, so my stepmother stayed in Los Angeles with my little sisters."
Moore and Willis were married between 1987 and 2000. After the divorce, they have remained friends, even after the actor remarried in 2009.

For the 28-year-old, it is nice to be with her parents in the house where they raised her: “They are both such nerdy and adorable parents, from the 90's, in a small town where they chose to have their children and not be in The Angels".
Travel restrictions may keep Willis and his wife apart, but she keeps in touch with her extended family through social media. In the Instagram photo that shows the family wearing striped pajamas, she commented: “Not many can look good in that color. They look good team! ”
