The United States crossed the mark of one million cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, or about one third of the total number of cases recorded in the world, according to the count of Johns Hopkins University.

The United States is, already since the end of March, the country which has the most cases detected of infection. They had reached the 500,000 cases reported less than three weeks ago on April 10. The country is also the country with the highest number of victims of Covid-19, with more than 57,200 deaths linked to the disease.
