While looking to finish closing an agreement with the opposition, Cristina Kirchner called the Senate session this Monday for next Wednesday the 13th . It will be the first session of the upper house remotely, with the vice president inside the compound and the 72 senators participating online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On the agenda for treatment in that session there are only two issues: voting the validity of 20 Decrees of Necessity and Urgency signed by Alberto Fernández and the protocol for the Senate's remote work.
The regulation will not be modified .

Watch the specialThe primary intention was that the Senate could meet already this Wednesday , but due to technical problems at the end Cristina Kirchner decided to postpone the session until next week.
In this way, Sergio Massa , president of the Chamber of Deputies, will win the "race" for who can sit first during the coronavirus quarantine.
In the lower house they clarify that there is no competition. " What's more, we put together the technical system , " they detach themselves from any possible rivalry.
Massa already has the venue ready - it is surrounded by LED screens that will show the live image of each of the deputies - to function " telematically" , as they prefer to call remote sessions in the lower house.
The tigrense summoned the heads of blocks to a meeting of Parliamentary Labor this Tuesday at 7pm. There the project agenda to be discussed in the first virtual session will be agreed .
The intention is that this session will take place this Thursday. The day before, this Wednesday, there would be a "test session": in that drill, the Micaela law would be "voted" again , which establishes mandatory training on gender and violence against women for all officials of the three powers of the National State. Deputies approved that law in December 2018.

In the Senate, on the other hand, Cristina Kirchner agreed with the opposition counterproposal that the sessions extend for up to 5 hours - the vice proposed 4 hours - and to expand the list of speakers.
The rest of the Senate authorities - the provisional president and the vice presidents of the House - will be in the Palace on the day of the sessions in the event that they must replace Cristina Kirchner.
The rest of the senators will participate connected by Internet from where they think best.
