The commander of the Iranian Air Force, Brigadier Pilot Yusef Qurbani, announced that his country has the fifth largest helicopter fleet in the world in terms of number and combat capacity.
Ghorbani said in a statement today to the Iranian Fars News Agency that these helicopters are equipped with weapons that are launched from long distances, indicating that the Iranian army’s flights are performing night missions after obtaining equipment that is considered one of the factors affecting the power of deterrence.
Qurbani pointed out that a large number of helicopters were equipped with a self-protection system and they were successfully tested.
