Today, the Iranian Islamic Shura Council approved the "very urgent" characterization of a draft resolution on confronting the Zionist entity's anti-security and stability policies in the region.
The head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Majtaba Mujtaba Dhul-Nur told IRNA that "the council unanimously approved at its meeting today to give this priority to the 14-article draft resolution to confront the actions of the Zionist entity."
Dhu Al-Nur and other deputies considered that giving the status of "very urgent" to the draft resolution is of great importance because it requires that the Council early next week discuss its articles, vote on it quickly, and miss the opportunity on the Zionist entity to take advantage of the current regional and global conditions to harm our national interests.
The draft resolution includes confirmation that historic Palestine belongs to all the Palestinian people.
In turn, MP Muhammad Ali Portmukhtar indicated that the project includes assigning the Iranian Ministry of Justice to work to take the necessary legal measures to punish the Zionist entity’s officials for their inhuman and anti-human actions.
