Covid-19 and its effect on people with intellectual disabilities

Intellectual disability encompasses limitations in both the functioning of the intellect and adaptive behavior. The Special Olympics organization has been working for decades to improve the quality of life of people with this disability, who are among the most vulnerable groups in the face of the current health crisis.
