Democratic majority in California shortened

Republican candidates have had a good week. In California, businessman Mike Garcia won a vacant seat following the resignation of Democrat Katie Hill, the state now has a majority of 37 Democrats versus 35 Republicans. In Wisconsin, Republican Tom Tiffany won the vacant seat for Sean Duffy, who resigned for personal reasons.
