The strong thunderstorm area associated with the low-pressure trough is gradually approaching the Pearl River Estuary.
Weather: Hong Kong is cloudy today with showers and squally thunderstorms. The rain is sometimes quite heavy. During the day, the temperature hoveres around 28 degrees, and the southwest wind blows gently.
The Observatory's outlook: There will be heavy showers at the beginning of tomorrow and the rain will weaken later; there will be sunshine and a few showers on a short period of time on Sunday.
