Donald Trump said Thursday he sometimes wears a mask when conditions demand, but said he doesn't want to do it in front of reporters. On the road to Ypsilanti, Michigan, the President visited a redeveloped Ford tour, in the midst of a coronavirus pandemic, to produce artificial respirators.
Asked why he had decided not to wear a mask, unlike the leaders of the automaker who surrounded him, he assured that he had done it a little earlier. "I wore one (...) But I didn't want to give journalists the pleasure of seeing it," he said with irony.

A little later, he presented the mask to journalists, without putting it on. "I love her so much. Honestly, I think I am better with the mask, " added the President of the United States, amused.
