Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, 43, was hospitalized in Moscow on Thursday on suspicion of being sick with the new coronavirus, Russian agencies reported, the latest case from a senior Russian official infected with the disease.
"Ramzan Kadyrov was flown to Moscow, the coronavirus is suspected. He is under medical observation , " a medical source told state agency TASS, describing his condition as " stable " . The two other Russian agencies Ria Novosti and Interfax also reported the hospitalization in Moscow on Thursday of the leader of the Russian republic of Chechnya.
