The situation in the Corona crisis has eased in recent weeks. The total number of cases hardly increases - there was a new one on Sunday.
Starnberg - Almost three months after the start of the corona pandemic, the number of cases this year in the district of Starnberg rose by one to 537 on Sunday. According to figures from the district office, the case comes from the municipality of Berg. The other new case from the weekend is actually not one: it does not come from the district, but is one of the 13 cases that are attributed to the district due to relocation, outdated addresses or other reasons. In fact, the positively tested are not in the district and do not live there either.
Weekend numbers should always be viewed with some caution. Not all positive test results are reported immediately; the numbers are usually lower on weekends.

According to the latest figures from the district office, 15 people have to be treated in clinics in the district, four have to be ventilated. Where the patients come from is not known. So far, 13 people have died from or with the virus. 26 are currently in quarantine.
The seven-day value per 100,000 inhabitants, which is decisive for new or tightened restrictions, is currently 2.2 based on the figures from Sunday. The limit is 35. Due to the delay in registration or registration in the systems, the figures from the State Office for Health and Food Safety and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) are sometimes different. At the moment, they are similar: on Sunday, it was also 2.94 for the state authorities, and 2.9 for the RKI, rounded.
