After two weeks of strenuous and complex police investigation on Sunday, a Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court will file a 56-year-old prosecutor's case against Yifimov Sergei for first-degree murder following the murder of the late Grigoriy Grigoriev, 63-year-old dentist killed in Bat Yam May 10. In addition, police will ask to extend his arrest once more.

Recall, on the day of the incident, in the afternoon, a report was received at the Israel Police Center 100, which was stabbed on Balfour Street in Bat Yam. Police and rescue personnel who arrived at the scene noticed the victim unconscious. As a result, the victim was referred to a human condition (according to medical officials who provided him with field treatment) to a hospital, where medical staffs were forced to determine his death soon after.
The suspect, Yifimov Sergei, a bookman who has been working for years in the barbershop near the victim's clinic, turned himself in to the Bat Yam police station and gave investigators an initial version to confirm. With the development of the investigation, which was entrusted to a special investigative team of the Ayalon district, accompanied by the Tel Aviv District Attorney, it became clear that in the period prior to the case, a long conflict ensued between the two and subsequently the suspect decided to murder the deceased
As mentioned, during two weeks of concentrated investigation, the police conducted numerous investigative operations, which revealed that following the protracted conflict between the two, on the day the suspect initiated a confrontation between him and the victim and during which he stabbed him with a sharp tool, which, while known, led to his death.
