At 10 o'clock this (31st) morning, the police received a report from the landfill staff, alleging that a 100 cm by 80 cm pre-war bomb was suspected, and personnel from the Explosives Disposal Division were present to follow up. The fire reported that suspicious objects were found in the Tseung Kwan O landfill. 20 people needed to be evacuated. The ambulance was on standby. At 12 noon, a large-scale accident was required to dispose of the tea truck used for long-term disaster relief.

In August 2018, a construction site in the Tung Kwan O stacking area found a World War II British howitzer with a length of about 1 meter and a weight of 300 pounds.
