The renovation of a street is usually greeted with joy by local residents. For some Kraillingen citizens who live in Sonnwendstraße, such a project could bring a lot of trouble. Because the property boundaries are not correct there.
Krailling - After the summer holidays, the municipality wants the 350-meter-long section of road to be completely renovated - following work by the Würmtal-Zweckverband, which is currently carrying out sewer work there. In the recent meeting of the local council, the Greens applied to correct property boundaries in the course of the renovation, as almost 30 square meters are used by private residents. “The walkways are very narrow in many areas and therefore narrow for use in the intersection area at the curves. These bottlenecks could be widened, ”says the application. Especially in the Sonnwendstrasse / Parkstrasse intersection, the misoccupied areas are particularly large.
Create legal security
A correction could have costly consequences for affected residents if fencing has to be moved. Andrea Schulte-Krauss, spokeswoman for the Greens, nevertheless called for legal certainty to be created. Otherwise it could happen that the newly made walkway would have to be torn away in a few years. In the meeting, building manager Sebastian Beel pointed out that not only is community grounds used by private individuals, but also that the community's sidewalk runs over private grounds. Here, too, it is about the same area.
The municipal council finally agreed unanimously to have the Haas engineering office work on the planning with regard to the exact property boundaries. At the same time, it should be checked what legal consequences the buildings have. "All of this must now be done as quickly as possible," emphasized Beel. After all, you want to get started in the summer.
There is a need for renovation not only in Sonnwendstrasse.
