The Libyan National Army spokesperson, Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari confirmed that the Turkish regime's battleships and planes are participating in the attack by the Al-Wefaq government forces on the city of Sirte.
"Al-Wasat government forces launched a comprehensive attack on Sirte in which Turkish drones and battleships were used off the coast of Sirte as well as large numbers of Turkish special forces," Al-Wasat Gate quoted Al-Mismari as saying in today's statements.
Al-Mismari pointed out that the Libyan army forces were able to repel the attack and launch a counter-attack with the air support of war fighters, as well as they were able to shoot down 3 planes marching to the Turkish regime.
Al-Mismari had called the day before yesterday the United Nations to put an end to the violations of the Turkish regime against the Libyans, pointing out that the attacks of the forces of this regime caused the killing of hundreds of Libyans in the cities of Bani Walid and Tarhuna.
The Turkish regime continues its plans to devote its interventions in Libya by sending its forces and terrorist mercenaries to it and supporting the militias there, within the framework of its ambitions to plunder the wealth of this country and expand its influence in the region.
