Sachsenkam - Unknown revelers at Kirchsee have proven to be irresponsible: After apparently celebrating a party on the front jetty, they broke the empty bottles and threw them into the lake.
The consequences were not inevitable: a girl cut her shards while bathing. The mayor of Saxony, Andreas Rammler, reported on the incident at the town council meeting on Thursday evening.

As a result, in the afternoon the girl had bathed in the lake, which was about 1.60 meters deep at this point. She couldn't see the broken pieces in the murky moor water and sustained an injury.

The child had to be taken to the Tölzer Hospital, where the wound was sewn. The mother later fished two broken beer bottles out of the lake with a beetle and informed the community.
Rammler, along with some local councils and local fishermen, tried to clean the area around the jetty from the broken glass on Friday. However, caution is advised when going into the water.
