Amid simplified and accessible facilities and procedures, wheat farmers in Tartous Governorate continue to market their crops to the certified wheat reception center in the Annabiya region and the center of the Tartous Mill in Tartus.

The new price set by the government at 400 pounds per kilo of wheat is encouraging for the farmer, according to Ghayath Ahmed Issa, according to a Sana correspondent indicating that he handed over his crop to the institution at the Annabiya Center, where he came to the center a few days ago and registered a role and today he came to deliver the crop and received the check for the price of the crop and will review the agricultural bank to obtain On the exact amount.

Specific procedures are applied to regulate the role and facilitate the entrance of farmers to the Annabiya Center, explained by Engineer Mahmoud Shibli, head of the center, who said: “We receive farmers to register each of them on a previous role and the wheat is received at the main door according to the role given to the farmer, then the car is weighed on the basement and then goes to the experts to take Samples from them, then samples are collected in a secret room and secret numbers are also given. After that, the farmer goes to the accounting room to calculate the value of each supplied car and gives a special receipt for the amount and is transferred to the agricultural bank to receive it.

In the center for receiving wheat in Tartous Mill, the delivery of wheat has started since the beginning of June of this year, according to what Engineer Fadi Mihoub confirmed, the head of the center, which indicated that the receipt is carried out according to specific dates and schedules, where the purchase criteria are determined according to the first, second, third and fourth degrees and based on the percentage of bodies and impurities present in the wheat, it is decided Whether wheat is acceptable or rejected.

New facilities by the concerned authorities to receive wheat from farmers for the current season, reviewed by Eng.
