In line for the self-employed: The tax authority will allow applications for the first bribe for self-employed persons, up to a maximum of NIS 6,000. The application will be available until July 1st. So far, about 234,400 self-employed persons out of 300,000 have received the first pulse of the grant, with a total amount of NIS 915 million / average of the first grant amount, about NIS 3,900.

About 70,000 self-employed workers from the potential self-employed pool have not yet utilized their eligibility for the first beat. Following this figure, the tax authority decided to extend the filing of applications for the first bipartisan grant until July 1, 2020, instead of June 10, as prescribed in the regulations. The extension is intended to allow for maximum realization of the grants, even by those who have not yet submitted the relevant annual report for the grant (2018, 2019), or who wish to apply for the assessment of the assessment in the submitted and received report, which should affect the eligibility for the grant. If he submits the annual report by July 1, 2020, or asks for such a report, he will be able to apply for the grant even after that date, upon his admission to the system.

The first-time grant of a maximum of NIS 6,000 is eligible for self-employed and small business owners, including exempt dealers, with an average monthly income from a business in 2018 that exceeds NIS 2,000 and their total annual taxable income does not exceed NIS 240,000. You can also file in case the 2018 income of both spouses did not exceed NIS 340,000, and which had at least 25% decrease in the activity cycle in March-April 2020 compared to these months in 2019.

Businesses that started operating in 2019 (before 1.9.2019), were required to file a 2019 report and the conditions for eligibility review will be reviewed according to this report.
