Streaming Acquires Legal Space for "Space Force" • Now US Army May Need to Find Another Sign • Comedy Knocked Out

The United States Space Force has just been established, and recently even revealed its flag, but it may have already lost its first war, and in the most ironic way - to its parody that surfaced last week on Netflix.

Last week, the "Space Force" series, created by Steve Karl, came up in the country. In a particularly funny, ten-episode parody in the first season, General Carl eight plays the head of Space Force, and is tasked with putting "American boots on the moon." Unlike other parodies, which are published relatively long after the object of laughter has taken place, the well-honed jokes that come in while space power only make skin and tendons are ignored.

The controversy rock touches on the registered "Space Force" sign, which is shared by the new space force and the comedy series, and right now Netflix seems to be winning the US military in the giant. Although the new command was announced as early as 2018, the U.S. military did not take any legal action to retain the registered mark of the name. Netflix, on the other hand, has already signed the program's broadcast agreements in several countries and continents, and has acquired the rights to the name on those media, actually gaining a huge legal advantage.

Granted, legally there is plenty of room to reach a compromise and allow both parties to use the registered mark, but here comes the Netflix agenda, which may decide to barricade itself in a voluntary position to differentiate itself from Trump's conservative administration. On the other hand, if space power cannot be called space power, then the parody has defeated real power, making it a little unnecessary.
