Montevideo-SANA

The total infection of the new Corona virus in Latin America and the Caribbean exceeded the threshold of two million, half of them were infected in Brazil, while the number of victims of the virus so far has exceeded 50 thousand, according to a new statistic for France Press.

According to the new statistic, which is based on official sources, a total of 2007,621 cases of Corona virus were registered in Latin America and the Caribbean, including 1065,579 cases in Brazil, where the number of victims of the virus to date has reached 49,976 people.

The figures only reflect part of the actual number of injuries, as many countries do not conduct tests except for the most serious cases, while other countries give priority to conducting tests to track those who come into contact with the injured, and a number of poor countries have limited examination capabilities.
