At the end of a breathtaking final and suspense, Jérémie Beyou crossed the finish line first at Les Sables d'Olonne this Tuesday evening, at exactly 8:44 p.m. and 8 seconds, to win Vendée-Arctique-Les Sables, preparatory and qualifying race for the next Vendée Globe (departure on November 8). The Charal skipper completed his race in 10 days, 05 hours, 14 minutes and 10 seconds (3284.32 miles at 13.39 knots on average). He should be ahead of Charlie Dalin (Apivia) and Thomas Ruyant (LinkedOut), shoulder to shoulder and expected in the finish area in the next few minutes.
