Earlier in the morning, the mayor announced the initiative, saying that "tonight we will illuminate the city hall with the Lebanese flag. Humanity precedes any conflict, and our hearts with the Lebanese people following the terrible disaster that befell them."
This is a surprising initiative of the Tel Aviv Municipality, which wakes up the municipality building once every few weeks in various configurations, especially in the context of the holidays, many were surprised by the initiative, and some thought it was excessive.
