A man was arrested by officials of the departmental anti-crime brigade of Seine-Saint-Denis, this Wednesday at the end of the day, at the end of a chase which took place between Saint-Ouen and Clichy (Hauts -de-Seine). According to the first elements of the investigation, it is about a detainee recently escaped from a French remand center.
The facts began in Saint-Ouen, around 6.30 p.m. A motorist, whose vehicle turns out to have been stolen, refuses to obey a police check. The police are chasing him. All of them continue their journey along the quays of the Seine and come to Clichy, rue du Général-Roguet.
There, the driver gets out of his car, near the cemetery located in this lane. He tries to escape on foot. In circumstances that will have to be specified, the police are required to fire at least five shots, according to our information.
The individual is finally arrested. Wounded in one hand, he was treated in a hospital. According to our information, there were no injuries among the police officers.
