Hong Kong has been cloudy and sunny recently. The Observatory issued an amber rainstorm warning signal at 8:55 this morning (5th).
According to the Observatory, heavy rain with an hourly rainfall exceeding 30 mm has been recorded or expected in a wide area of Hong Kong, and the rain may continue.
Some low-lying areas and areas with poor drainage will experience flooding. People who may be affected by heavy rain and flooding are reminded to take appropriate precautions to prevent possible losses.
The Observatory changed the red rainstorm warning signal at 9:55, and then changed the yellow rainstorm warning signal at 10:55.
The yellow rain warning was cancelled at 11:15.
The Observatory issued a yellow rainstorm and a red rainstorm warning signal successively on the morning of September 5. People without rain gear looked embarrassed.
