Former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison has been charged with three counts of aggravated endangerment in connection with the Breonna Taylor death case.
Two other police officers involved in the shooting that occurred last March have not been charged.
Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron said he was prepared to prove the charges at trial.
A curfew has been implemented in Louisville, as protests and riots are expected.
