It's very quiet in the corner for a long time.

Only the scratching of the colored pencils can be heard, in between the rustling of puzzle pieces.

But at some point Oskar * turns around and says aloud: "Do you know how quiet my train is?"

He doesn't wait for an answer, but builds himself up in the middle of the room and calls out: "As quiet as an electric car!"

He stands between four women, one of whom is the Bundestag member Luise Amtsberg.

She is Oscar's mother.

Luise Amtsberg, 35, is the refugee policy spokeswoman for the Green parliamentary group in the Bundestag.

She first took up the mandate seven years ago, and Oskar was born two years later.

Today he's five: a bright child who loves trains.

Amtsberg is a constituency member for Kiel, the main residence of Amtsberg and her family is now in Berlin.

Because of the many weeks of meetings, most of the family time is left, even if the decision was not an easy one.

"Kiel is my home," says Amtsberg, "but commuting and the separation that goes with it is often tough for the whole family."
