The General Organization for Television and Radio Production obtained the most important dramatic centers through the Jerusalem Guard series in the referendum of the Egyptian art site Shahryar Al-Nujoom, ahead of the most important Arab artistic companies and their dramatic productions that were shown last Ramadan.
The Foundation won the Center for the Best Arab Production Company in the poll, in addition to the artist Rashid Assaf, the best Arab star and the Jerusalem Guard series, the best Syrian Arab series, director Basil Al-Khatib, the best Arab director, and Hassan M. Youssef, the best Arab screenwriter.
Regarding the results of this public referendum, director Ziad Jaris Al Rayyes, Director General of the Production Corporation, said in a statement to SANA: “We are pleased that our message of resistance, patriotism, nationalism and humanity that the Jerusalem Guard series carried reached reached the Arab audience, which expressed its opinion through this public referendum and this demonstrates the correctness of our approach as a production company Syria is a governmental organization in presenting a dramatic work that simulates the pulse of the Arab street and expresses the resistance against the occupation and the attempts to neglect the Palestinian cause as an Arab issue.
