The new Corona virus has killed more than a million and 36 thousand people around the world since it began spreading last December, according to the American World Meter website.
The site, which is operated by a team of developers and researchers, indicated that the total number of cases of Coronavirus around the world has reached 350,54898 cases, and the total deaths reached 1,036,328 cases, while the total cases of recovering from infection with the virus reached 2,6061843 cases.
The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, registering 214065 deaths out of 7590218 cases, followed by India with 101,812 deaths out of 6547413 cases, then Brazil, with 145555 deaths out of 4888926 infections.
In Africa, the total number of corona cases reached 1,497,391, and the total deaths were 36,504 cases, according to the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The center said in a statement today that the African countries most affected by the virus in terms of the number of infections are South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, Ethiopia and Nigeria, respectively.
