Former President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, contracted the coronavirus.
This was announced by his wife Marina in a video shared by Poroshenko's party on Facebook.
Accordingly, the 55-year-old was taken to a hospital, he had bilateral pneumonia.
One of the two daughters had also tested positive for the corona virus.
Poroshenko ruled Ukraine from 2014 to 2019.
In August, ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko fell ill with Covid-19.
She was also treated in a clinic, which she has since left.
