Officials from the
Bad Wiessee
police station
originally searched for stolen property on Thursday (October 1).
Instead of the stolen items, however, they found several apparently working
firearms and weapons of war.

The experts on weapons and explosives offenses of the BLKA were called in, searched the property and discovered four fully automatic firearms that are subject to the War Weapons Control Act - including an Uzi submachine gun, an MP 40, an assault rifle 44 and a machine gun 42. The officers also found several One hundred rounds of ammunition and four handguns, which
are subject to
the
Weapons
Act.
They were secured, as the State Criminal Police Office announced.

It goes on to say: “The 54-year-old accused, who legally owns another 16 short and long guns, was temporarily arrested.

The officers then searched the house and found a large amount of ammunition requiring a license, a double shotgun, two barrels, a barrel, a revolver and prohibited items. "
As the officials also announced, the 54-year-old has no links to extremism.
"The investigation against him for crimes under the War Weapons Control Act and the Weapons Act is being carried out by the BLKA in cooperation with the Munich II public prosecutor," it concluded.

Now a couple ended up in court.
