DPRK President Kim Jong Un affirmed that his country has developed military capabilities to deter any external threats that dare to threaten or violate its independence and to protect peace and defend socialism and the dignity of the DPRK people.

And the DPRK Central News Agency reported that President Kim stressed in his speech today during the military parade marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Korean Labor Party to continue strengthening military deterrence as a viable means of self-defense to contain all threats of hostile forces, including the nuclear threat. This deterrent is only developed to defend the DPRK and when the hostile forces violate the country's security.

President Kim indicated that the Korean Labor Party will steadily manage and continuously expand beneficial policies and measures aimed at improving people's well-being and achieving an ideal society for prosperity, pointing out that his country faces great challenges represented in combating the Corona epidemic and natural disasters.

President Kim called for efforts and sincere work to achieve a better tomorrow for the Korean people, noting that his country has a distinguished group of loyal and qualified employees in the science and defense technology sector and workers in the arms industry who serve the interests of their country.

Today marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Labor Party in light of the continuous national revival in the DPRK in various economic, social and military fields despite the conspiracies and the continuous hostile approach against it by the countries that are opposed to stability and peace on the Korean Peninsula.
