They too, as witnesses in their flesh of the century of the inhuman, engage, when threatened in their existence, the whole of humanity.
This is why the conflict which keeps reigniting four hours' flight from Paris is global.
This is its ultimate meaning: by the way we judge it, we actually judge ourselves.
Why are there Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh, surrounded by Azerbaijan because of Stalin's vicious border cuts?
Because they are at home there.
Why don't they want to leave?
