In a letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu, Haim Bibbs argues: Instead of enforcing restrictions and facilitations en masse, one should return to spot enforcement in red cities • Ministry of Health: The traffic light model is not relevant at present

The chairman of the local government center, Haim Bibbs, last night sent a letter that he described as "urgent" to Prime Minister Netanyahu, in which he accused the Ministry of Health of erring in the way it returns the economy to routine, relying on overly comprehensive criteria.

This, according to him, instead of focusing the treatment specifically on "red" local authorities, without causing the rest of the citizens in the country to suffer from the burden of these restrictions.

Bibbs defined the exit plan as a "complete disregard for traffic light and differential principles between local authorities."

According to him, this is a "bombing, while completely disconnecting from what is happening on the ground. This means: losing public confidence and violating sweeping guidelines," he noted in his letter to Netanyahu.

The chairman, who also serves as mayor of Modi'in Maccabim-Reut, believes that the current conduct of the Ministry of Health means "that businesses will remain shut down.

Residents will remain unresponsive to proper education solutions with restrictions on their freedom of movement. "

In the letter, Bibbs clarified that in his opinion," there is no reason why the differential model - the traffic light, should not start working from the second or third phase Small and trade. "

He added that "despite all our hard work in helping fight the spread of the corona virus, the Ministry of Health has no faith in the differential model. There is no trust in the differential plan, no trust in residents, there is only fear and anxiety that paralyzes decision makers," The

Ministry of Health responded: "The ministry supports the traffic light model, only that it is currently irrelevant."
