La Lista
is the story of Second Lieutenant Francisco Soto, a Mexican Army officer, detained for nine years, accused of collaborating with the criminal group Los Zetas.
In this chapter, a month after Soto's arrest, his father, a retired military man, mysteriously disappears on a highway between Nuevo León and Tamaulipas, in northeastern Mexico.
Lucía, Soto's mother, blames her son for the disappearance and asks for an explanation.
