Spain has recorded a new high in deaths due to the emerging corona virus.
Reuters quoted the Spanish Ministry of Health as saying in a statement today that the death toll from the virus rose by 368, in the largest daily increase in the second wave of the pandemic, noting that the total number of deaths reached 38,486 cases.
The ministry added that the number of injuries increased by 21,908 to one million 306 thousand and 316 cases.
The previous record for deaths in one day during the second wave was 188.
And it scored on October 27, which is much lower than its counterpart at the height of the first wave in early April, which reached nearly 900 cases.
