 After tense hours of counting votes in several key states, today (Friday) marks a turning point in key state of Georgia - which was carried out in blue after Joe Biden managed to overtake Trump and now leads by 917 votes Biden now holds 2,449,371 votes compared to Trump who holds 2,448,454 votes. The results continue to flow even now and it shows that Trump leads in Pennsylvania and Georgia by a gap of 18,224 votes and 1,267 votes respectively.

 President Trump leads Democratic candidate Biden by 22,576 votes, a gap of about 0.3%; 

In Georgia (16 electors)

- Trump's advantage continues to shrink and now stands at a gap of 1,709 votes, after about 99 percent of the vote was counted; 

In North Carolina (15 electors)

- after counting about 95 percent of the vote, Trump leads by a gap of 76,737 votes, which is a gap of 1.4 percent;

- Biden leads by 11,438 votes, a 0.9 percent difference;

Georgia: The Secretary of State of Georgia has updated that no further updates from the vote count are expected.
