Dr. Elmer Huerta believes that Joe Biden, who according to CNN projections won the presidential election, will give priority to a public health policy against the new coronavirus.
In conversation with Juan Carlos López, he said that Biden will surround himself with medical experts who will show him the way forward.
Regarding the brand of new cases of covid-19 in the United States, Huerta pointed out that the number of deaths will increase in several weeks, while some of these infected people get worse and end up in intensive care units.
