The Lattakia governorate put the Martyr Tamam Malik Ali School for Basic Education in the village of Al-Nawakeer in Jableh countryside on the administrative borders with the governorates of Hama and Tartous, to receive about 43 students from the first cycle, who used to walk about 4 km on foot to the schools of the neighboring villages.

According to the Director of Technical Services in Lattakia, Engineer Wael Al-Jardi, the school consists of 3 floors, each floor is 225 square meters, and includes 6 classrooms, two rooms for administration, and a guard room, indicating to the SANA reporter that its total cost is 96 million pounds under a contract between the Directorate of Technical Services and the branch of the Military Construction Execution Corporation.

In turn, the Director of Lattakia Education, Omran Abu Khalil, indicated that the school saves time and effort on the people of the village and the children who were forced to go a distance of at least 4 km to the schools of the neighboring villages, indicating that the land was presented as a gift from the families of the martyrs in the village and considering that the father of the martyr who was called the school With his name from the educational corps, he was named its director

The project manager at the school executing company, Eng. Zuhair Tuffaha, pointed out that the school’s construction was started last year and as a result of the nature of the geographical area and its mountainous terrain, we faced some difficulties during the implementation, but the implementation was done with the best technical specifications.

In addition, maintenance workshops at Shahid Hussein Ahmed Ali High School in the town of Dalia continue their work, as they follow up from the Services Directorate to install aluminum windows after completing the maintenance of bathrooms, painting classrooms and isolating the roof of the last floor.

The Director of Technical Services in Lattakia pointed out that the cost of maintenance work in the secondary school, which has a building area of ​​about a thousand square meters, and includes 18 classrooms, is about 50 million pounds, according to two contracts signed with the branch of the Military Construction Execution Corporation.

He also explained that the first contract was completed during the summer season and included painting the floors, isolating the last floor and pouring tendencies in it, while the second contract was started at the beginning of last October and includes the installation of aluminum for row windows, maintenance of bathrooms and others, stressing that the secondary will be fully invested within a week.
