US President Trump has to resign in January. Now he has announced a change on Twitter: Defense Secretary Mark Espen has to go. A successor has already been determined.

US President Donald Trump has sacked Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

The office is to be taken over by Christopher Miller, as Trump wrote on Twitter on Monday.

Miller was previously director of the National Counter Terrorism Center.
